This monster took ten scans to put together, which is probably why I put off scanning it for so long. The Night-Bringer was my final project for my spring '06 woodcut class. It took me...I have no idea. A really long time and I was tearing my hair out over it. Must have turned out pretty well if I still like it two years later.
This print is the first appearance of the Night-Bringer herself, I've since done several more prints and whatnot that feature that helmetty-feathery-whatever-she-is. I don't even know, and I'm the one drawing her. Two-block reduction woodcut (10 runs, I think), 22x28", 20 impressions. ©E. Patrician 2006, all rights reserved. |
